2010 Football
Ages:
Division 1- 7 & 8 year olds
Cannot be 9 before August 1st, with the following exception;
A 9 year old can play Div 1 if he weighs less than 80 pounds, but
must weigh less than 70 pounds to carry the ball.
Division 2- 9 & 10 year olds
Cannot be 11 before August 1st, with the following exception;
An 11 year old can play Div 2 if he weighs less than 110 pounds, but
must weigh less than 100 pounds to carry the ball.
Requirements:
All players are required to have a sport physical prior to beginning
practice, and a copy of their birth certificate. These forms need to
be turned in at the first practice.

Fall Football:
Fall football signups will start in May.
Practices will be held three times a week and games will begin in
early September.
Admission for games:
Adults $5.00, 12 and over $2.00,
under 12 FREE, Seniors $2.00.
Youth Football Physical Form
Flag FOOTBALL: (Fall Season Only)
(5 & 6 years old. Can't turn 7 before Aug. 1st) Introductory
football for students in Kindergarten and 1st grades. Players will
learn the fundamentals of football while having fun in a non-tackle
atmosphere.
Flag Football Fee is $80. This fee covers insurance, jersey, flag
and belts. Each athlete must first be a member of Piedmont Rec. and
paid the Yearly Family Membership Dues.
* All players MUST have completed physical forms on file prior to
practice beginning.
*Note if your child will be 7 on Aug. 1st but wants to play flag, it
must be approved by the football board prior to signing up.

Parents you have the great opportunity to support your Piedmont
Youth Football program
and leave an everlasting memory for your child. The Piedmont Youth
Football program has set up a Player of Honor Wall which will be
located near the entrance to the new football stadium. There you
will see the names of kids that have played in our program
throughout the years. These names will stay on this wall for life.
To participate in this sponsorship program, a $ 100 donation made
out to Piedmont Youth Football will get your child's name placed on
this wall. The Player of Honor Wall will be one where these kids can
come back
in years to come and see their names and remember the great times
they had while playing in the Piedmont Youth Football Program.
