Looking to Baseball 2010

We have an opportunity to host our 2nd annual Summer Baseball Clinic at Noel Williams Park August 4-7, 2010. We have worked with feedback from last year and found that evening hours are more beneficial for getting players to the park; therefore, we will look at hosting Aug. 4-6 from 6-8pm and then on Aug. 7th from 10am until 2pm.

Players will be split into comparable age groups to ensure they are in a safe environment. This year we will be accommodating older players with workouts on the Babe Ruth field. This will hopefully allow us to have an older age group attend and upcoming 13 year old players will get introduced to the larger field. We will have approx. 5 - 7 players per instructor (of which all are current College level/ past college players).

Players would be responsible for bringing Drinks, Gloves, Cleats, Bats, Gloves (Helmets and catchers gear for those that are catchers) and cups are strongly recommended along with proper baseball attire. Catchers must be properly equipped with a cup to catch. Saturday players will need to bring a small snack for a mid-day break.

Cost of the camp is $100 made payable to Piedmont Rec Association.
